Strength and Conditioning

RPCS Strength and Conditioning Mission Statement
The RPCS Strength and Conditioning Program is designed to provide our athletes with a mentally and physically challenging environment in which they have the opportunity to develop a strong work ethic, mental toughness, discipline, and a sense of pride in their accomplishments.  Our athletes train consistently and systematically through multiple modalities for the purpose of increasing athletic performance.

RPCS Strength and Conditioning Program Goals
The goals of our program change as the athlete progresses through the season.  During the off-season program goals include developing work capacity, increasing functional strength, and developing the ability to move well in multiple directions.  In-season strength and conditioning program goals shift toward maintaining off-season progress, remaining injury-free, and peaking conditioning appropriately.  Our overall goal for long term athlete development is to have our athletes graduate with more explosive power, greater functional strength, and an increased capacity for multi-directional speed and agility than when they began their high school athletic career.
