    Upper School Chemistry: Upper School science position open for 2017-2018. Teaching assignment will include 11th grade Honors and Regular Chemistry as well as two semester length senior electives. The position also includes an advisory component. RPCS is a laptop school; candidates are expected to be able to integrate technology into the curriculum.     Lower School Science Teacher:
     
    The Roland Park Country School, a K-12, independent girls school, is seeking a dedicated, creative, innovative, and enthusiastic Elementary Science Educator for the 2017-2018 school year.     Upper School Technology Integrationist:
     
    Roland Park Country School, a K-12, independent girls school, is seeking a creative, innovative, and enthusiastic Technology Integrationist for the 2017-2018 school year. This person will be integral in facilitating a relationship between technology, faculty and the classroom.  We are a 1:1 laptop school that focuses on an integrated technology model. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making, design, 3D printing and student driven projects, and is equally comfortable working with students and adults. This position reports to the Director of Information and Innovation and works with all the Upper School faculty across all subjects.     Middle School Math: 
    Roland Park Country School is looking for a mathematics teacher for the Middle School. Responsibilities associated with the position will include teaching four classes and possibly serving as an advisor to a group of students.  The ideal candidate will have a love for mathematics, and an eagerness to share his or her passion with an enthusiastic student body. The Middle School at RPCS teaches from the CMP Curriculum (grades 6 and 7) and Philips Exeter Algebra 1 curriculum (grade 8) using a constructivist approach.     School Nurse: 
    (10- or 12-month position) Roland Park Country School is searching for an experienced School Nurse to coordinate, implement, and maintain a comprehensive school health services program starting in the 2017-2018 school year. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years related nursing experience, an Associate’s or Baccalaureate in Nursing, demonstrate exceptional assessment and communication skills, be competent in Microsoft Office programs, and have the ability to work collaboratively.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing school health services for all students and personnel during the school day, collecting and maintaining health data for each student, overseeing compliance with state regulations, providing human development curriculum education and employee in-service training.   Candidates must have a current Maryland Nursing License, CPR certification, and recent continuing education pertinent to school nursing.

    Assistant to the Lower School Head - Roland Park Country School is seeking a full-time Assistant to the Lower School Head, start date June 1, 2017. The Assistant provides administrative assistance and daily operations leadership and support for RPCS’s co-ed Infant-Toddler Center and Preschool as well as the K-5 all-girls elementary level division (total students: 190) and will manage internal and external electronic communications for the Lower School. The Assistant to the Lower School Head is the first line problem solver for parents, students, and Lower School employees. Candidates should possess a good sense of humor and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable, and always child-loving environment. Ideal candidates will have executive assistant experience, will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and have demonstrable skills communicating through social media.     Upper School Director of Theater (70%)
    Roland Park Country School is seeking a Director of Upper School Theatre to spread their love of theatre and the Performing Arts within our community and among our student body. The candidate will be responsible for teaching semester elective classes and oversees the Footlights Theatre Ensemble, a select ensemble comprised of juniors and seniors, who annually produce a collection of one-act plays as well as a studio play. While working closely with the Sinex Theater Technical Director and Performing Arts Department Head, the Director of Upper School Theatre will work collaboratively on the two Upper School mainstage productions: the fall musical, and spring play. The ideal candidate will have an ability to collaborate with the Performing Arts faculty, and experience with successful high school productions. A Master of Arts or MFA in Acting and Directing are preferred.

    Lower School General Music Teacher - Roland Park Country School is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and passionate Lower School general music teacher to teach our youngest music makers in the Preschool 3 through Fifth Grade classes. Through a student-centered, general music curriculum which centers around singing, but also includes movement, and classroom instruments (recorder and Orff instruments), the teacher will spread and encourage a love and appreciation of music among all students. Proficient piano skills and choral directing experience are requirements. A degree in Music Education is required.
     
    While working closely with the Lower School Head and the Performing Arts Department Head, The Lower School music teacher is responsible for coordinating all music performances (Winter and Spring concerts) as well as grade specific performances at All-School Convocations reflecting appropriate musical development. In addition, the teacher prepares music for weekly Lower School Meetings and works closely with classroom teachers to integrate music lessons into Preschool through Grade Five cross-curricular units

    Director of Annual Giving
    Roland Park Country School is looking for an experienced fundraising professional for a full-time opportunity in the Development Office. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of professional work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experiences. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and an ability to foster strong teamwork while simultaneously able to work independently and creatively will be essential. Experience maintaining data and confidential information in a fundraising database, such as Raiser’s Edge is strongly preferred. Demonstrated excellence in written communications, fundraising, and working with volunteers required. Specific responsibilities include working with the Head of School and Director of Development to advance the mission of the school through the Annual Giving program, planning, developing, and executing the Annual Giving campaign including direct mail, phonathons, and face-to-face solicitations, working collaboratively with the Director of Leadership Giving, managing the Assistance Director of Annual Giving, leading a robust group of volunteers, preparing financial reports, preparing and monitoring the Annual Giving budget, and supporting special events as needed.
